Instructions for Presenters

Observation: We remind you that will have two awards for the best oral presentations and six awards to the best posters.. http://sbsr.com.br/en/node/1423.

ORAL TECHNICAL SESSIONS

Time: from 2:00 pm to 4:40 pm

  1. All presenters of papers shall confirm their respective presentation at the Technical Secretariat upon arrival to the event in Santos or on the eve of its presentation;
  1. If the first author is unable to attend, the paper may be presented only by one of the coauthors that must inform that alteration using the email sbsrorg@dsr.inpe.br;
  1. It is mandatory that the presenter of the paper is registered at the event;
  1. The author who needs any type of support for his/her presentation, should look for the Technical Secretariat, which is prepared to attend exclusively authors and presenters;
  1. Presentations can be given in English or Portuguese irrespective of the language that the paper was written, i.e. papers written in English can be presented either in English or Portuguese;
  1. Each author will have 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions;
  1. A computer with PowerPoint and a multi-media projector will be available at the presentation room for each presenter;
  1. Authors must look for the "Media Desk" room to install and test their presentations with at least 12 hours prior to his/her schedule. Presenters should preferably use the PDF format to avoid possible system incompatibilities;
  1. The presenters scheduled for Monday, April 15th, may deliver his/her presentations to the Media Desk on Sunday, May 14th;

 

POSTER SESSION

Time: from 5:00 pm to 6:30pm

Location: Area of Panels (Urano and Netuno)

  1. All presenters of papers shall confirm the respective presentation at Technical Secretariat upon their arrival to the event in Santos, or on the eve of its presentation;
  1. If the first author is unable to attend, the paper may be presented only by one of the coauthors that must inform that alteration using the email sbsrorg@dsr.inpe.br;
  1. The presenter of the paper must be registered at the event;
  1. The author who needs any kind of support for his/her presentation, should look for the Technical Secretariat, which is prepared to attend exclusively authors and presenters;
  1. The poster dimensions should have 0.90m wide x 1.20m high;
  1. It is the responsability of the presenter to place the poster where indicated. The panels will be numbered sequentially, as presented in the Technical Program. The poster can be hung with a lanyard on top;
  1. All posters must be mounted until 10:00 am, on the day of the presentation;
  1. The presenter of the paper must be in front of his/her poster in the period from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm;
  1. All posters must be removed after 6:30 pm of the same day of the presentation, otherwise it will be discarded by the Technical Secretariat;
